The Tale of Turlough O’Carolan

Course: Experience Design

Goal: An exploration of DMX lighting with an emphasis of syncing lighting with sound. Must use medieval theming of CAVE environment.

Pitch: The tale of Turlough O’Carolan, a blind Celtic harper, considered to be Ireland’s national composer.

Team: Daryl Choa (Producer), Weizheng Lee (Programmer), Liam Philiben (Sound Design + Voice Acting), and Monica Toren (Writer + Harper).

Responsibilities: Research, script writing, choreography, and documentation.

Platform: DMX Lights in ETC’s CAVE platform.
